Admissions Requirements

For all courses/trainings good command of speaking, reading and writing skills in Turkish is required. Additional requirements depending on the features of the courses are as mentioned below.

1. C.G. Officer Basic Training: Being an Officer,

2. C.G. P.Officer Basic Training: Being a P.Officer,

3. Search and Rescue Course: Being an Officer and P. Officer

4. Boarding Team Course: Being an Officer and P. Officer,

 5. Life Saving and First Aid Course:

a. Being an Officer and P. Officer,

b. To pass the physical fitness test applied on the first day of the course: content of the test is as shown below:

(1) Taking out 3-5 kg weight from 2-3 meters depth.

(2) Swimming 20 meters distance from underwater without fins in a single breath.

(3) 50 meters rescue test: Rescue jump, swimming for 25 meters with a rescue technique, then taking out the lifesaving manikin from 2-3 meters depth and carrying to the starting point, getting out of the water without manikin. (should be completed at most in 2 minutes without fins and A, B, C equipments.)

(4) 200 meters running, 200 meters swimming, 200 meters running test should be completed at most in 8 minutes. (Run-Swim-Run Test)

(5) To go through the control of a ear, nose and throat (ent) consultant and internal diseases doctor and get the "can attend the course" report as for the vital capacity.

6. Lifesaving Compatibility and Update Training:

 a. Being an Officer and P. Officer,

b. Having lifeguard certificate certified by Türkiye Underwater Sports Federation.

c. Lifesaving certificate of the personnel should not pass the period of six months time starting from the termination of its validity.

7. Fast Boat Handling Course: Being an Officer and P. Officer, 

8. Anti-Smuggling and Law-Enforcement Intelligence Course: Being an Officer and P. Officer,

9. Team Course: Vessel/boat personnel

Being an Officer, P. Officer, Enlisted man or a vessel personnel with equal specifications,

10. Watchkeeping Officer and P. Officer Efficiency Course:

Being an Officer and P. Officer,
